The celebrations of the fifth centenary of the birth of Andrea Palladio in Vicenza begin. Days will be inaugurated on September 20 to the Porto Palazzo Barbarano “Palladio 500″, a show that celebrates the great genius born the son of provincial and city that has become the most famous architect of past centuries worldwide. 

To show Palladio, was formed an international team of researchers from Italy, France, Britain, Germany, Spain and the United States that in five years of research collect unique frames, found in more than eighty museums and libraries throughout Europe. Around 300 works including 78 original drawings autobiográficos (many of whom return to Italy after the sale by Vincenzo Scamozzi the English architect Inigo Jones in 1614) paintings, books, manuscripts, maps, coins and several architectural models.
